Satisfying Summer Season

photo by Ximena GrisctiWhat a summer! Europe and the UK were lovely. Scotland beautiful. Truly wonderful trips. So were Harrison Hotsprings on the gorgeous west coast of Canada, and Trout Festival up in the northlands of Ontario was the cherry on everything despite the rain. The trip along Superior was grand and magical. Perfect cure for the horrifying police state of Toronto during the G8/G20. Can't believe it's already been two months since that crazy time. Right before the insanity began I got to record with Bruce Cockburn for his upcoming record. I also spent two weeks soaking up Tango culture in Uruguay in July (winter down there), and now I'm looking forward to the fall and digging into more writing, collaborating and time on the ground.
